I was born in 1991 in a sweet town of São Paulo called Socorro. I am the daughter of mineiros (my parents were born in Minas Gerais) and I have 2 sisters, of which I am the middle.
When I was a little girl, I loved going to church to pray and sing.
At nine years old, I was invited to join the choir and served there until I left Brazil at twenty-six.
When I was fifteen, people who attended my church began to hire me to sing at their weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations.
This time at the church is how the love for music within me turned into something even stronger – a desire to bring music to everyone who wants to hear it in a loving and professional way.
I believe that music is in my blood, as both of my grandfathers were musicians. Even though I never met them, I want to carry their legacy.
Part of how I do that is through learning the international favorite songs, as well as bringing my beloved Brazilian music to everyone in this nation. Today, in addition to attending musical events, singing, and playing, I compose, turn stories into songs, participate in social projects, and am in constant pursuit of growing as a Christian, daughter, and musician.
I faithfully believe in the power music has to heal, motivate, congratulate, and awaken all the best feelings that we experience throughout life.
In view of this, I collaborate with the Trupe Socorriso, a lively group in good faith who dress up as clowns and visit hospitals and homes of the most needy to bring them a message of love through songs, smiles, and clowning.
My collaboration with them is very simple, to compose music for the project. Below are some past songs I’ve composed and a photo of this wonderful group.
If you also want to collaborate with the project, you can send me ideas of songs, texts, or also make a donation.
